1. Our commitment

OTB Funded is built for people who enjoy sports and want to test their skill. It should never cost more than you can afford or take over your life. This page explains how our product works, the limits we set, the tools we offer, and where to get help.

2. Simulated, but still real money

  • All challenge and funded accounts are simulated. You never wager real money with us, and OTB Funded is not a sportsbook.
  • The challenge fee is real money, and our product uses sports betting odds and outcomes. For some people, that can feel and act like gambling, and it can lead to the same harms.
  • Only spend what you can afford to lose. Treat each fee as the cost of the challenge, not as an investment. Most challenges are not passed, and a payout is never guaranteed.
  • Never buy a new challenge to "win back" a failed one.

3. Age limits

You must be 18 or older, or 21 or older where the law requires it, to use OTB Funded. Void where prohibited. We confirm age at checkout and verify identity and age before any payout. Accounts found to belong to someone underage are closed. If you think a minor is using OTB Funded, contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL].

Parents and guardians: consider device-level parental controls and content filters to block gambling and betting-style sites.

4. Stay in control

  • Set a monthly budget for challenge fees before you start, and stick to it.
  • Set a time limit for each session. There is no clock on our challenges, so there is no reason to rush.
  • Take regular breaks, and don't play when you're upset, stressed, or drinking.
  • Keep other hobbies and time with people you care about.
  • Never borrow money, use credit, or sell things to pay for a challenge.

5. Signs of a gambling problem

It may be time to take a break and talk to someone if you:

  • spend more money or time than you planned, or find it hard to stop;
  • chase losses or keep buying challenges to make up for failed ones;
  • think about picks or betting most of the time;
  • lie to family or friends about how much you spend or play;
  • borrow money, miss bills, or put work, school, or relationships at risk because of it;
  • feel anxious, irritable, guilty, or low when you aren't playing, or after you play;
  • use betting or picks to escape problems or difficult feelings.

6. Cool-off and self-exclusion

You can ask us to block your access for a period of time. Choose the option that fits:

OptionLengthWhat happens
Cool-off[e.g. 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days]You can't buy new challenges or place picks. Marketing emails stop for the period.
Self-exclusion[e.g. 6 months, 1 year, or permanent]Your account is closed for the period. You can't open a new account or buy challenges. We remove you from marketing lists.

How to request

  1. Email [CONTACT EMAIL] from the email address on your account, with the subject "Cool-Off Request" or "Self-Exclusion Request".
  2. Tell us which option and length you want. If you don't choose, we will apply [DEFAULT OPTION].
  3. We will confirm by email and apply the block within [PROCESSING TIME].

What to expect

  • A cool-off or self-exclusion cannot be shortened or lifted early. After a self-exclusion ends, [REACTIVATION PROCESS, e.g. a written request and a waiting period].
  • Open challenges are [PAUSED / CLOSED] during the period. Payouts already earned and approved are still paid after verification. Treatment of fees for unused challenges is described in our Refund Policy.
  • We will make reasonable efforts to stop you from opening new accounts, but we can't guarantee it. For extra protection, consider blocking software and excluding yourself from other betting and gambling sites too.
  • We may also apply a cool-off or self-exclusion ourselves if we have concerns about your wellbeing.
