Refund Policy
The short version. Your challenge fee is non-refundable once any pick is placed. Pass both steps and your fee is refunded with your first approved payout. Refunds are paid in crypto to a wallet you control.
1. What this policy covers
This Refund Policy is part of our Terms of Service. It covers challenge fees paid to [COMPANY LLC NAME], doing business as OTB Funded. Challenge fees are one-time fees for access to our simulated evaluation service:
| Challenge | Simulated bankroll | One-time fee (USD) |
|---|---|---|
| $2.5K Challenge | $2,500 | $29 |
| $5K Challenge | $5,000 | $59 |
| $10K Challenge | $10,000 | $99 |
| $25K Challenge | $25,000 | $199 |
2. Refunds before any pick
If you have not placed any pick on your challenge account, you may request a full refund of your fee within [REFUND REQUEST WINDOW, e.g. 14 days] of purchase. Once we refund, the challenge account is closed. [LIMIT ON REPEAT REFUND REQUESTS, IF ANY.]
3. No refunds once a pick is placed
Once any pick has been placed on a challenge account, the fee is non-refundable, whether the pick wins, loses, pushes, or is later voided, and whether or not you go on to complete the challenge. This includes challenges that end because the 10% max loss was reached, accounts you choose to stop using, and accounts closed for inactivity [IF AN INACTIVITY RULE APPLIES].
4. Fee refund when you pass
- If you pass both steps of a challenge, we refund that challenge's fee with your first approved payout from the funded account that challenge earned.
- The fee refund is subject to the same identity verification and account review as the payout. It is not paid if the pass is voided for prohibited conduct, an odds or data error, or another breach of our Terms.
- The refund is for the fee amount you paid (after any discount), in U.S. dollar value, not the crypto amount.
5. Account closures
- Closed for a violation: if we close an account for prohibited conduct (such as multi-accounting, collusion, exploiting stale odds or errors, or using bots) or for giving false information, the fee is not refunded.
- Order refused or cancelled by us before your challenge is issued: we refund the amount we received for that order.
- Ineligible location or age: [REFUND TREATMENT TO BE DEFINED BY COUNSEL].
- Self-exclusion or cool-off: [REFUND TREATMENT FOR UNUSED CHALLENGES DURING SELF-EXCLUSION, TO BE DEFINED].
6. Crypto payment problems
Challenge fees are paid in cryptocurrency through [PAYMENT PROCESSOR], a third-party crypto payment processor. Some payment problems are handled as follows:
- Underpayment (partially paid): if you send less than the amount due, often because an exchange deducted its fee, your challenge is not issued. Contact us and we will either let you send the balance or refund the amount received, less network fees.
- Overpayment: we will refund the excess on request, less network fees, or apply it as you direct [IF SUPPORTED].
- Duplicate payment: if you pay twice for the same order, we refund the duplicate, less network fees.
- Wrong asset, wrong network, or expired invoice: we will try, with the processor, to recover the funds, but recovery is not always possible and may involve fees. We are not responsible for funds that cannot be recovered.
- Price changes: crypto prices move. We are not responsible for gains or losses from price changes between the time you pay and the time any refund is sent.
7. How refunds are paid
- Refunds are paid in [REFUND ASSET AND NETWORK, e.g. USDC on a stated network] for the U.S. dollar value of the eligible amount, to a wallet address that you control. We may ask you to confirm ownership of the wallet and to verify your identity before sending.
- Blockchain network fees for sending a refund are [DEDUCTED FROM THE REFUND / PAID BY OTB FUNDED].
- Make sure the address and network are correct. Crypto transfers cannot be reversed, and we are not responsible for refunds sent to an address or network you provided.
- We aim to send approved refunds within [REFUND PROCESSING TIME] of approval.
- We cannot refund through the payment processor to the wallet you paid from unless the processor supports it, and exchange deposit addresses may not accept returned funds, so always give us a personal wallet address.
8. No chargebacks on crypto
Crypto payments cannot be charged back. If you have a problem with a payment, contact us first; we will work with you and the processor to resolve it. Disputes are handled under Section 19 of our Terms.
9. How to request a refund
Email [CONTACT EMAIL] with the subject "Refund Request" and include:
- the email address used at checkout;
- your order ID (from your confirmation email or payment page);
- the reason for the request; and
- the wallet address and network where you want the refund sent.
We will reply within [RESPONSE TIME].
